He was the husband of Cecile Webre Miller of Vacherie; father of Mrs. John (Carolyn) Veillon and Mrs. Stephen (Juanita) Roussel, both of Vacherie; brother of Clarence Miller of Vacherie, Mrs. George (Florence) Weilbert of New Orleans, Mrs. James (Dorothy) Lemoine of Kenner, Ralph Miller of Thibodaux and Irving Miller of Chackbay. He is also survived by five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Lydia Forsyth Miller; and a brother, Joseph Miller. He was a charter member of the Vacherie Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He was a P.O.W. in World War II.
