Funeral Home in Thibodaux for John Eugene Goodwin, 38, a native and resident of 
Thibodaux who died at 6 p.m. May 1.

Burial was in St Joseph Cemetery.

He was the son of Ernest Goodwin Sr.; the brother of James Goodwin, Kathryn 
Stricklin and June Wright.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Simoneaud Goodwin and his 
brother, Ernest Goodwin Jr.

Catholic Church in Napoleonville for Uranie Gros Thibodeaux, 88, a native of 
Labadieville and resident of Napoleonville, who died May 1, 1997.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today at Landry's Funeral Home in Napoleonville 
and 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at the church.

Burial will be in St. Philomena Cemetery in Labadieville.

She was the wife of George C. Thibodeaux; mother of Marion Daigle of Gretna, 
Raymond Thibodeaux of Thibodaux and James Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge; sister of 
Helena G. Richard of Labadieville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 
30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcee Gros and Malvina Talbot; two 
brothers, Gaston and Percy Gros; and two sisters, Lucille Aizen and Marion 
Baudoin.

Donations to the Arthritis Foundation or to Alzheimer's research are preferred.

He was the husband of Leslie Ordoyne Turner; son of Isabel Guillotte Turner; 
father of Thomas Johnny, Crystal Lynn and Marie Michelle Turner and Leslie Faye 
Chandler; brother of Gary Michael and Marlin John Turner. He is also survived 
by six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Albert Turner.

He was a dental technician and owner-operator of Ceram-Lab of Thibodaux.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Jones; parents, Alfred and Evelyna

Richard Jones Jr.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Hope Marie Martin and Faith Edwina 
Martin.

Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux for Gilbert Maurice Peltier, 86, a 
native of Chackbay and resident of Thibodaux, who died at 12:50 p.m. May 28, 
1997.

Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at 
Thibodaux Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He was the husband of Earline Boudreaux Peltier; father of Jessie Joseph 
Peltier, Esther Ledet and Bemice Kraemer. He is also survived by 10 
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Peltier and Corastie Rodrigue; 
two sons, Nolan and Herman Peltier, two brothers, Robert and Clefe Peltier; and 
four sisters, Adelaide Benoit, Gladys Morvant, Sadie Toups and Edwina Ockman.

grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Wheelock; parents, Anna Moore 
and John G. Morrel; two grandsons, Nicholas and Edward Willett a daughter, 
Patricia Myers; a brother, Dan Morrel; and a sister, Florence Morrel.

She was a parishioner of St. Genevieve and served from 1942-44 as an Army Nurse 
Corps Second Lieutenant. She was a member of "Come Lord Jesus" Group and 
enjoyed gardening and sewing.
