Harry Gaus

Harry Benjamin Gaus, 62, died May 28 in Tampico, Mexico.

He was the husband of Maggie C. Gaus; father of Dilar Clauss, Monse Eldon, 
Carmen Marlbrough and Alex and Mark Gaus. He is also survived by one 
grandchild.

He was a native of Lancaster, Pa., and moved to South Louisiana in 1958 after 
service in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a retired superintendent with J. Ray McDermott Inc. with more than 30 
years of service in Louisiana, Venezuela, Africa, Dubai and Mexico.

Colette Eymard

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off for Colette A. Eymard, 26, a native and resident of 
Cut Off, who died June 1, 1997.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

She was the daughter of Bradley Eymard and Peggy Ann Plaisance Eymard; sister 
of Kizzy and Jarett Eymard.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. 
Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville for Marie Therese LeBlanc, 91, a 
native and resident of Paincourtville, who died at 3 p.m. June 1. 1997.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at the church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was the sister of George LeBlanc of New Orleans, Mrs. Col. J.O. (Noelie) 
Fitzgerald of Slidell and Mrs. Dr. Clifford (Elisa) Comeaux of Baton Rouge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. LeBlanc; three 
brothers, Dr. Joseph E., Robert E. and Durand E. LeBlanc; and a sister, Yvonne 
LeBlanc.

She taught school in Shreveport for 45 years and was inducted in 1991 into the 
Hall of Fame at Byrd High School.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Elite Cemetery in 
Chauvin for Albert J. "AJ" Pellegrin, 60, a native of Terrebonne Parish and 
resident of Chauvin, who died at 4 p.m. June 1, 1997.

Visitation will be 4 to 10 p.m. today at 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the K.C. 
Hall in Chauvin.

He was the father of Alton, Curlynn, Ronnie, Linda, Lisa and Lorie Pellegrin, 
Elvina Pellegrin of Slocomb, Ala., Cynthia Crochet, Patsy Auer of Hastings, 
Mich., and Vivian Neil; brother of John P. Sr. and Anna Mae Pellegrin, Mildred 
"Beatrice" Deroche, Mrs. George (Dorothy) Pellegrin and Mrs. Vincent (Barbara) 
Pellegrin liner. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Sr. and Vivian Hebert 
Pellegrin; a sister, Cecile Pellegrin; a half-brother, Hubert J. Pellegrin; and 
a granddaughter, Candace Marie Pellegrin.

Donations toward the funeral expenses are preferred.

two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorida Thibodaux Orgeron; parents, Joseph 
and Marie Loupe Orgeron; a son, Eugene Orgeron; a sister, Maggie Plaisance; and 
five brothers, Joseph Jr., Emile, Milton, Freddie and Whitney Orgeron.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary and a veteran of World War II. 
He was a member of V.F.W. Post 8538.

of Louisiana, a charter member of the Rotary Club of Luling and a former post 
commander of the V.F.W. in Luling.

Funeral Home Chapel for Eve Sanchez Delatte, 84, a native and resident of 
Choctaw, who died at 2:30 p.m. June 26, 1997.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. today to funeral time Saturday at Thibodaux Funeral 
Home.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She was the mother of Lorena D. Kliebert and Dorothy Tabor. She is also 
survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Delatte; parents, Lawrence and 
Angelic Sanchez; a daughter, Pearly Delatte Ordoyne; two brothers; five

She was a former resident of Lockport and graduated from the Hotel Dieu School 
of Nursing in 1931. She retired from nursing in 1976.
