Terrebonne, 80, had been a lifelong resident of Golden Meadow. He served as alderman for 16 years beginning in 1961 and also was mayor pro tempore at one time, said his grandson Brian Terrebonne. Terrebonne was a member of the Golden Meadow Rotary Club and the Knights of Columbus #9000. Gilbert Terrebonne is survived by his wife, Helen; a sister, Vivian Lefort; a brother, Alidore; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Boudreaux led the diocese from its establishment in 1977 until his retirement in 1992. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church in Morgan City, with evening prayer at 7 p.m. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church in Cut Off with office of readings at 9 a.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. at St. Joseph Co- Cathedral in Thibodaux with vigil for the deceased at 7 p.m. Visitation will be held from 7 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma, with a 9 a.m. prayer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. at St Francis de Sales, with internment in the Bishop's Crypt in the Cathedral. Boudreaux was born Jan. 25 1918 in Berwick. He was ordained a priest May 30, 1942 and a served as assistant pastor in Crowley, vice chancellor of the Diocese of Lafayette from 1946-54, officials of the Lafayette diocese from 1949-54, pastor of St Peter's Church in New Iberia from 1954-71, vicar-general of the Diocese of Lafayette from 1957-71, diocesan counselor from 1957-71, dean of the New Iberia Deanery from 1954-71. Bishop Boudreaux was appointed Titular Bishop of Calynda and auxiliary bishop of Lafayette on May 19, 1962 and was consecrated July 25, 1962. He served in that capacity for the diocese until June 4, 1971, when he was appointed bishop of Beaumont, Texas. He was installed first bishop of the Dioceses of Houma-Thibodaux on June 5, 1977. He started driving the ambulance after a year until the mid 1960s. Robichaux shared a bond with the funeral home's clients. He helped develop a certain trust with the people he dealt with. Before the Thibodaux and Houma areas had their own hospitals, Robichaux was forced to make many trips to New Orleans in the 1940s and '50s. He also saw many changes in the funeral industry and the way services are conducted. Robichaux was a member of American Legion Post 349, V.F.W Post 3665, Forty and Eight Woodmen of the World Lodge 664, the Raceland Fire Department and the Grand Marshal Club. He was a member of Lafourche Lodge No. 427 for 32 years and a member of Bayou Fellowship Lodge No. 484, the Lafourche Shrine Club and the Lions Club. Visitation will be 7 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland. She was the wife of Leroy Luke Robichaux; mother of Rouanne R. Leonard and Carolyn Bonnette; sister of Elie Callahan and Jane Callahan Savoie. She is also survived by seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Coledon and Leon Callahan Jr.; and a sister, Eloise Callahan Dantin.
