resident of Cut Off, who died at 2:15 a.m. Dec. 1, 1997.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to funeral time, Tuesday at the church.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.

He was the husband of Gail Defelice Adams; father of Carl J. and Dean M. Adams, 
Linda A. Louvierre; brother of Whitney Adams Jr. and Betty A. Philips. He is 
also survived by seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney and Armance Rodrigue Adams Sr.

Thibodaux for Leola R. Davis, 78, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died 
Dec. 1, 1997.

She was the mother of Walter Davis Jr. of Tampa, Fla., and Wilbert and Edward 
Davis and Clara Mae Robinson, all of Thibodaux. She is also survived by 21 
grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Davis Sr.; parents, Charles 
Royal and Viola Rooks; two sons, Harold Charles and James Lee; and a daughter, 
Dorothy Mae King.

Napoleonville, and 5 p.m. to service time today at the church.

She was the mother of Melba Bougere of Labadieville, Mary Ann Myles, Doris and 
Bernadine Fair of Trenton, NJ., Alice Lewis of Dorseyville, Dorothy Fair of 
Donaldsonville and Barbara Crayton of Gonzales, David Sr., Hillary Jr. and 
Robert Fair Sr., all of Paincourtville; sister of Florence Burdis and Mildred 
Wright of Thibodaux, and Florida Williams of Paincourtville. She is also 
survived by 38 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and one great-great-
grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hillary Fair Sr.; parents Horace and 
Olivia Williams; sisters, Melvina Jones and Josephine Joseph.

He was a retired professor of music at Nicholls State University and a
