Thibodaux for Cora Lee Bradley, 59, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died
March, 28, 2001. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until Funeral Time. Burial will
be at the Church Cemetery. She was the wife of Wallace Bradley Sr. of Thibodaux;
daughter of Christine Robertson of Thibodaux; mother of Edward J. Bradley,
Michael J. Bradley, Sheryl Ward and Mary L. Bradley, all of Thibodaux, and
Wallace Bradley Jr. and Annie M. Streams of Houston; sister of Aaron Robertson
Jr. of Thibodaux; and stepsister of Emma Robertson of New Orleans. She is also
survived by 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her father, Aaron Robertson Sr.; sisters, Liza Mae and Rose Mary
Robertson; grandparents, Stewart and Liza Davis and Louis and Emma Robertson.
She was a member of Moses Baptist Church. She was also a member of the
Sophisticated Ladies Social Club. She was a homemaker. Kennedy Funeral Home of

Baptist Church in Napoleonville for Mildred Jupiter, a native and 
resident of
Napoleonville, who died March 27, 2001. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until

mother of Wanda J. Williams, Eula, Carolyn, Demetria, Jeffery, Michael, Roy,
Warren and Eric Jupiter, all of Napoleonville; sister of Josie Ward and Grace

Catholic Church in Houma for Angelina "Angie" M. Sumrall, 59, a native and

Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery in Houma. She was the
former wife of Jerry L. Sumrall; mother of Tommy J., Micheal R. and Nellie A.

collecting antiques, dolls, gardening and playing with her grandchildren. She

He was a purchasing agent for Southern Technology and Services.
He was a member of the Houma Hunting Club and a former member of the Knights of

She was the mother of George J. Babin of Taylors, S.C., and Brenda B. Holloway
of Forest Hill.
She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

David Blanchard

Church in Bayou Blue for David W. Blanchard, 40, a native of Terrebonne Parish

Point-aux-Chene for Dominique Dardar, 91, a native of Lafourche Parish and
resident of Point-aux-Chene, who died at 8:35 p.m. March 30, 2001.
Burial was at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
He was the husband of Leodillia Naquin Dardar; father of Gillis Sr., Levis,
Edison, Dominique Jr., Jessie and Tommy Dardar, Oxcelia Naquin, Ann Mitchell,
Bernadette Dardar, Norma Chaisson, Delina Guidry, Betty Dardar and Carmen
Lebouef. He is also survived by 51 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Drozin and Marie Naquin Dardar; son,
Leroy Dardar; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Jachin Dardar;
and sister, Eva Dardar.

Ezekiel James Eliot Nevis, infant, a native and resident of Houma who died March

He was the son of Winter Lewis, and Elliott David Nevis of Houma; brother of Ron
Eric and Kaylyn Lewis both of Houma; and grandson of Annie G. Norman, George
Nevis and Dorothy Nevis, all of Houma.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jamison Quinter Lewis; and grandfather
David Lewis.

Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur for Kenneth C. Tenney, 73, a native of
Peason and resident of Sulphur, who died April 5, 2001.
Burial was at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Sulphur.
He was the husband of Helen K. Tenney of Sulphur; father of John and Michael
Tenney, both of Sulphur, and Kathryn Devall of Hackberry; and brother of Mary
Louise Harlow and Betty Jean Crosby, both of Moss Bluff. He is also survived by
six grandchildren.
He was a retired maintenance supervisor at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital for
25 years.
He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific
Theatre, and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He later enlisted w
ith the U. S.
Army, serving as a helicopter pilot for 11 years.
He was a member of the Purple Heart Recipient Organization.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Germaine L. Donohue, of South Glen Falls, passed away Friday, April 6, 2001, at
her home after a long illness.
Funeral services were held April 10 in Queensburry, N.Y.
Mrs. Donohue was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the daughter of the late Margaret
(Martin) Gardner and Harold Gardner of Port Richey, Fla.
Germain was employed as a registered nurse at Fort Hudson Nursing Home in Fort
Edward for many years.
Besides her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Donohue
Senior, who died July 22, 1981.

Howard Joseph, 79, a native of Chicago, Ill., and resident of New Orleans, who
died April 10, 2001.

She received the habit of the Sisters of Mount Carmel in 1953 and pronounced
perpetual vows in 1960.
She taught from 1955 to 1963 at Mount Carmel schools in New Orleans and was a
hospital administrator at St. Joseph's in Thibodaux from 1966 to 1971.
As a social worker in the Houma-Thibodaux area, she performed services such as
adoption supervisor, marriage counselor, director of family counseling and vice
president of outpatient services at Mac Donell United Methodist Children's
Services.
She went on to serve on Diocesan Tribunals in the dioceses of Alexandria and
Houma-Thibodaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Joseph and Anna McCauley
Mulhern; and two brothers.

Donald P. Tardo, 43, passed away Friday, April 13, 2001 in a Corpus Christi
hospital after a sudden illness.
He was born to the late Lester V. and Jeanne Benoit Tardo on May 27, 1957, in
Thibodaux.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Weaver Industrial Services and a member of
the Ingleside, Texas, Masonic Lodge.
He enjoyed cooking outside, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his
family.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II in France. He
retired after 40 years of service with the U.S. Army Reserve at the rank of
Chief Warrant Officer W4 after holding the highest possible rank for over 20
years.
He also simultaneously retired from his U.S. Federal Civil Service position
affiliated with the administration of the local U.S. Army Reserve Center after
completing 20 years in that position.
He was a member of Superior Avenue Baptist Church, where he served on the
building committee, served as deacon, computerized various systems of the
church, taught Sunday school and sang.
He also helped the elderly in the area with their every day needs and
volunteered his time and donated land to his parents' and neighbors' church, the
Ben's Ford Church.
He helped to create the Bogalusa Water District and the Washington Parish Fire
Protection District 7 system, where he served as a charter member and the
secretary until his death.
He was a charter member of the Bogalusa Masonic Lodge and a member of the Center
and
Varnado Lodges and Shriners organizations.

George Collins
George J. Collins Sr., 86, of Grand Isle died at 8:05 a.m. April 21, 2001 at
Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.
He was a long time employee of Texaco and later was an independent consultant
working in supervisory positions in the drilling industry in North America,
South Americ
a, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, West Africa and North Africa.
For the last 15 years, much of his time was spent fishing from his incredibly
productive pier in Caminada Bay, where he also watched and catalogued his
beloved Atlantic bottle-nosed dolphins.
He was in the first graduating class of Golden Meadow High School in 1934 and
attended Louisiana State University.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Maxine Brock Collins of Kenner; son,
George J. Collins Jr. of Houma; daughter-in-law, Jan Irwin Collins; grandsons,
Dr. Geoffrey J. Collins of Natchitoches and Brandon Collins Gamble of Houma;
granddaughter, Holly Elaine Collins of Metairie; and great-grandson, Kevin
Geoffrey Collins of Natchitoches. He is also survived by two sisters, Germaine
Collins Hanagriff and Georgette Collins Smith, both of Centerville; and numerous
nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Collins and Elusia Terrebonne
Collins; sister, Fredia Collins Cheramie; and brothers, Levy, Aramise, Hennesey,
Freddie, Theodore, Randolph, Jesty and B.J. Collins.
A private memorial service will be held in his honor in Grand Isle at a later
date when he will return to his island and bay.

Greenwood Middle School. He also served as assistant principal at Elysian Fields
School and Legion Park School.
He was a veteran of the U.S. National Guard.
He was a parishioner of Maria Immaculata Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home
Chapel in Houma for Angelo A. Pullaro, 82, a native and resident of Houma, who
died April 26, 2001.
Burial was at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
He was the husband of Emma Theriot Pullaro of Houma, and father of Don Pullaro
and David Pellegrin. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Rosalie Graco Pullaro;
brothers, Nat and Joe Pullaro; and sisters, Mary and Rosalie Pullaro.
He was a World War II veteran.
He was a retired store owner.

Home in Houma for Lucille Josephine Theriot Soudelier, 74, a native and resident
of Houma, who died at 10:48 p.m. April 27, 2001.
Burial was at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery in Houma.
She was the mother of Richard Soudelier, Corine Barlow and Sue Dupre, all of
Houma, Carl Soudelier of Golden Meadow and Joseph Soudelier of Kissimmee, Fla.;
and sister of David Theriot of Houma and Linda Stevens of Gulf Port, Miss. She
is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Paul Soudelier; parents, Joseph

and Estella Brunet Augustin; brothers, Roland, John and Norman Theriot; and
sister, Esther Theriot and Gail Molaison.
