A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral in Thibodaux, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his brother, Sidney Borne; sisters, Patricia Pujol, Betty 
Borne, Evelina Pitre and Mercedes Chiasson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita West Borne; parents, Albert and 
Louvina Usey Borne; and sister, Frances Stevens.

Eddie Carter Sr., 76, a native and resident of Thibodaux, June 1, 2003. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to the wake service today at Moses Baptist 
Church in Thibodaux, and from 10 a.m. to funeral time at Old Fountain Missionary 
Baptist Church in Thibodaux. The wake service will be held at 8 p.m. today at 
Moses Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
Old Fountain Missionary Baptist Church in Thibodaux, with burial at Old 
Fountain Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Gordia Mae Carter of Thibodaux; daughters, Everlina 
Miller, Winetta Watkins, Trixie Every, Lucille Thomas, and Sally Brown, all of 
Thibodaux: sons, Eddie Jr., Samson, Donald, and Lynroy Carter of Thibodaux, 
Alton Carter of Larose, and Patrick Carter of Houma; brothers, Wilbert Matthews 
of Houma. Clarence Matthews, and Cornel Holly of Thibodaux; sisters, Edna 
Winslow, Lelia Southall, and Luanna Jackson of Thibodaux, Mary Scott of Houma, 
Bessie Mae Darnell of Patterson, Geraldine Randall of New Orleans, and Cheryl 
Hebert of Arlington, Texas; 51 grandchildren, and 58 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Romanuel Carter and Mary Matthews;

Jackson, Charles Jackson, Richard Matthews, Scuddy Matthews, and Alfred Carter;

Thelma Lucy Chauvin Pellegrin, 84, a native of Morgan City and resident of 
Houma, died at 3 a.m. June 1, 2003.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Annunziata 
Catholic Church in Houma, with burial at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery. 

She is survived by her sons. Ralph, William J. Jr., Paul. Lee Sr. and Johnny J. 
Pellegrin, all of Houma, Steven Pellegrin of Marrero and James "Jimmy" 
Pellegrin of Baton Rouge; daughters, Barbara P. Bergeron of Gray and Margie 
Injaian, Pearly P. Kramer and Tina P. Ray, all of Houma; sister, Ethelrita 
Chaisson, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Pellegrin Sr.: pan-
nts. Cestiw and Zulema Duplantis Chauvin: son, Terry Pellegrin; brothers.

Kaelyn Blayre Westerman, an infant from Raceland, died at 3:31 p.m. June 1, 
2003.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery 
in Raceland.

She is survived by her parents, Bobby Johnson and Rae Westerman; and 
grandparents, Laura and James Minchew Jr., Michael and Linda, Westennan and

Joe "Grey Goose" Calvin Harper Sr., 62, a native of Forrest and resident of 
Gibson, died at 7:45 a.m. June 2, 2003.

A religious service was held at 10 a.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home, with 
burial at St. Anthony Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Rhonda Blakeman Harper; mother, Ida 
Mable Fox Harper; sons, Ryan, Randy and David Harper; daughters, Maria and 
Brandy; brothers, Clifton, Charlie and Oslar Harper; sisters, Peggy, Voncile, 
Carolyn, Dinna, Millie, Meckle, Becky, Annie and Margie; and one granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Joe Harper; brother, Johnny 
Harper; and a sister.

He was a member of the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, S.J. USA New Orleans, a 
charter member of Terrebonne Fellowship Lodge No. 481 F and AM Houma and a 
charter member of Ka-Jon Grotto in Houma.

Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.

Terry "T.J." Joseph Jr., 5, died June 2, 2003 as the result of an automobile 
accident.

grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoine Waldo Toups; parents, Joseph

Herbert J. Adams Sr., 89, a native of Malaguay and resident of Kraemer, died June 
3, 2003.

Kraemer. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the 
church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Cortez Adams; sons, Herbert J. Jr. and Jimmy J. 
Adams; daughter, Shirley A. Rome; sisters, Elise Schouest, Laura Fabre, Grace 
Orgeron, Sidonie Kramer and Louise Autin; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanislaus and Louisa Prestenbach Adams;

Jane Boudreaux Cressonie and Jill Boudreaux Chauvin; brothers, Erlis Sr. and 
Raymond Adams; sisters, Vedride LeBlanc, Anna Belle Pennison and Rosalie Arabie; 
12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eno Boudreaux Sr.; parents, Lovance and

Olga "Taunt Doll" LeBlanc Tardiff, 90, a native of Terrebonne Parish, and resident 
of Thibodaux, died at 2 p.m. June 3, 2003.

Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon

retired Lafourche Parish teacher.

Reynold Thibodaux Sr., 87, a resident of Baton Rouge, died June 4, 2003.

He was buried at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge.

Schriever; brother, Benson Thibodaux of Bayou Blue; 16 grandchildren and 23 
great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter J. Thibodaux and Alfreda 
Samanie Thibodaux; sons, Calvin Thibodaux and Reynold J. Thibodaux Jr.; and 
brothers, Alvin Thibodaux of Bayou Blue and Feltres Thibodaux of Houma.

Clarence Lee "Sheen" Robinson, 52, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Los 
Angles, Calif, died Jan. 26. 2002 at Los Angeles County Hospital. A memorial

Burial will be in the Bell Baptist Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland.

He is survived by his parents, Harry Sr. and Ruth Robinson of Thibodaux;

Thibodaux.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shelvin, and Annie Robinson, and

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Cortez Rome; sons, Jason, Manuel and Lonny 
Rome; daughter, Diane Becnel; daughters-in-laws, Cindy, Juania and Rachel Rome; 
son-in-law, Dano Becnel; sisters, Therese Falgoust, Margaret Cortez and Ruth 
Becnel; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph "Vic" Victorin and Althe Becnel 
Rome.

Charisse Percle

Charisse Percle, 22, a native of Schriever and resident of Broussard, died at 
7:30 p.m. June 30, 2003.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux 
and from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church in Broussard.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, 
with burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Broussard.

She is survived by her parents, Perry and Ava Percle; brother, Bryce Percle; and 
grandparents, Lillian Arceneaux, Wilbert and Delores Percle. She was preceded in 
death by her grandfather, Murphy Arceneaux.
