church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his sister, Irma Douglas; daughter, Debra Carter; stepson, 
Marion Patterson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Douglas; parents, Mary and Joseph 
Douglas; and sister, Estoria Douglas.

Raymond Theriot Jr.

Raymond Felix Theriot Jr., 60. a native of Houma and resident of Seminole. Fla., 
died at 5:15 p.m. June 26. 2003. of acute in myclogenous leukemia.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 
in Houma.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at 
St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his mother, Mae Duplantis Theriot Ledet of Thibodaux; sister, 
Sharon Theriot Bergeron and her husband, Clifford "Moe," of Chauvin; step-
sister, Linda Ledet Levert and her husband, Lawrence, of St. Martinville; step-
brothers, Winston Ledet and his wife, June, and Anthony Ledet and his wife,

one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Willis Billiot; parents, Willie

July 1, 2003.

home.

Louise D. Dupuy, 89, a resident of Cottonport, died July 2. 2003.

She was a resident of St. Joseph Manor Nursing Home in Thibodaux.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 Saturday at St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church 
in Cottonport.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church; with burial at 
St. Mary's Mausoleum in Cottonport.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Duplechain and husband Dr. Curtis of 
Thibodaux and Glenda Tarver and husband Johnny of Prairieville; son, Emeric 
Dupuy "and wife Carmel of Cottonport; brother, Thomas Decuir of Lafayette; 
sister, Moree Decuir of Cottonport; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. E. "Taft" Dupuy Jr.; parents, Harry 
A. Decuir Sr. and Fannie Steele Decuir; and brother, Harry "Bookie" Decuir.

Dorotha Mae "Mamaw" Stark, 85, a native of Rector, Ark., and resident of Cut Off, 
died at 5:30 a.m. July 2, 2003.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Stark; son, George Stark; daughter, 
Darlene Brantley; brother, Curtis McMorris; nine grandchildren; and numerous 
great and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 
Joe and Amanda Harmon McMorris; son, Wayne Stark; and brother, George McMorris.

Marianne C. Vega, 58. a native of Montgomery. Ala., and resident of Cut Off, died 
July 2. 2003.

Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today at the 
church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Randy R. Vega; father, Lorimer P. Comeaux; son, 
Jay Vega; daughters, Melanie Vega and Maria V. Gros; brothers, Paul and Michael 
Comeaux; sisters, Pam Hargis and Karen Marler; and grandchildren, Jay and Alexis 
Vega and Gregory Gros.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emelda Trosclair Comeaux.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She enjoyed reading, traveling, flowers and spending time with her family and 
friends. Samart Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.

Houma, died at 5:20 p.m. July 3, 2003.

She is survived by her brothers, Louis "Mac" Lodrigue of Duson and Edward, 
Ernest, Nolan and Joseph Lodrigue, all of Houma; and sister, Marie Irene 
Lodrigue.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gracien Chaisson; parents, Eloi 
"Mexican" and Elizabeth Marie Lodrigue; brother, Junior Lodrigue; and sisters, 
Josephine "Mabel" Billiot and Marie Florence Lodrigue.
