Donnie Charles Williams Sr., 23, a native of Gray and a resident of New 
Orleans, died Friday. Aug. 29, 2003.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. today at Kennedy Funeral Home in 
Raceland and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Eagle Wright Baptist Church in Gray. 
A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial in 
the Halfway Cemetery' in Gray.

He is survived by his parents, Warren C. Williams Sr. of Gray and Janice 
Williams of Gretna; grandparents, Daniel Sr. and Doretha Nixon of New Orleans; 
a son, Donnie Williams Jr. of Lafayette; brothers, Warren C. Williams Jr. of 
Gray and Ronnie Paul Williams of Jackson; a sister, Kizzy Williams of New 
Orleans.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillie Anderson and Robert 
Walker.

Bryan Lee, 41, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died Aug. 30, 2003.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Bright Morning Star

Saturday at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Carter; children Aerial and Bryan Carter 
Jr., Lakeisha, Ashley, Christopher and Brittany Williams; stepchildren 
Courtney, Robert and Joshua Wiggins; sisters Mariah Wiggins, Ella Carter and 
Gertrude Robertson, all of Napoleonville; brothers Darryl Carter of Pineville 
and Keith Carter of Napoleonville; stepfather Jimmy Sanders; mother-in-law, 
Mary Jane Cargo; father-in-law Ernest Millien; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, 
nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Ida Mae Carter; a daughter, 
Latisha Williams; and brothers, Joe Cox and Nick Carter.

Burgess "B.J" Joseph Clement Sr., 74, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died 
at 7:55 p.m. Sept. 2, 2003.

Visitation will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic 
Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. 
Thursday at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Boudreaux Clement; daughters, Elizabeth 
Santana, Sheryl Robichaux, Jennifer Chiasson, Shelly Delatte, Laura Clement, 
Roxanne Clement, Donna Ranzino and Melissa Gandy; sisters, Marcella C. Brasher, 
Yvonne C. Lee, Gayle C. Decker and Hazel C. Bergeron; 20 grandchildren; and 
three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Anelle Naquin Clement; son, 
Burgess J. Clement Jr.; sister, Viola Clement Robeau.

Wilma Rivet Lagrange, 76, a native of Klotzville and resident of Plattenville, 
died Sept. 2, 2003.

Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Assumption Catholic Church in 
Plattenville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday 
at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Lagrange; parents, Nicholas and 
Ida Usey Rivet; brothers, Leo and Elliot Rivet; and sister, Marina Rotolo.

Milton Price Sr.

Milton Price Sr., 51, a native and resident of Raceland died at 8:55 a.m. Sept. 
2, 2003.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Third Zion Baptist Church in 
Raceland. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with 
burial at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland.

He is survived by his devoted companion, Ruth Mae "Betty" Smith of Raceland; 
parents, Willie and Lovenia Price of Raceland; son, Milton Price Jr., of 
Kenner; daughter, Tina Young of Thibodaux; sisters, Betty Young, Sherry Price, 
Gayle Hill, and Adweena Price all of Raceland; brothers, Jerome Price, and 
Michael Price of Raceland and Dale Price of Houma; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Ernestine Murray, and 
Willie and Rosia Lott Price; and brothers, Willie Price, and Ronald Lee Price.

He was Baptist. His hobbies included gardening.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.

Dolores Orgeron Boudreaux, 73, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of 
Harahan, died at 8 p.m. Sept. 3, 2003.

Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by a loyal friend, Freddie Doucet; a daughter, Ida LeBlanc; a 
brother, Bobby Orgeron; sisters Gloria Cannatella and Peggy Cheramie; five 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Boudreaux; parents, Juan and 
Lelia Kieff Orgeron; a son, Billy Boudreaux; and a brother, Herman Orgeron.

Peggy Dugas Danos, 70, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Cut Off, died 
at 4:10 p.m. Sept. 3, 2003.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 
in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday 
at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dan Danos; sons, Douglas "Doug" D., 
Michael L. and Robert "Robbie" M. Danos and Mike Williams; daughters, Denise D. 
David and Katherine "Kathy" D. Mayberry; brother, Larry G. Dugas; 10 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry George and Vivian Thibodeaux 
Dugas.

She was Catholic and a founding board member of Casa Hope. She enjoyed sewing, 
painting and stained glass.

Jody Lea Dugas Mitchell, 36, a native of Lafayette and a resident of Monroe, 
died Sept. 3, 2003.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe 
with a prayer vigil at 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jesus The 
Good Shepherd Church in Monroe with burial in the Monroe Memorial Park in 
Monroe.

She is survived by her husband, John Patrick Mitchell of Monroe; a son, Maxwell 
Cannon Mitchell of Monroe; her mother, Alma "Tinker" Dugas of Lafayette; her 
father, Clifton "Dugie" Dugas of Lafayette; a brother. Clifton Meade Dugas II 
of Dallas, Texas; aunts Barbara Jackson and husband Sonny of Zachary, Colette 
Canty and husband Merlin of Patterson, Kathy Dugas of Patterson, Gail Jenkins 
of Conroe, Texas, Lollie Deligans of Galveston, Texas, and Jeanie Giddens of 
Conroe, Texas; her father in-law, Victor C. Mitchell of Monroe; mother-in-law. 
Bunny C. Hewitt and husband Frank of Monroe; sister-in-law Marianna Mitchell of 
Los Angeles, Calif.; and maternal grandparents Jean and Alma Deligans of

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Irby and Bertha Dugas.

Carroll Marx Toups, 68, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003.

celebrated at noon Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial at 
St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa P. "Trub" Toups of Houma; daughters, Mary 
T. Jumonville and her husband Bobby of Lafayette, Barbara T. Miller of the 
Bronx, New York, and Emelie T. Willis and her husband Mark of Kenner; sons, 
Andrew A. Toups of Houma and Daniel L. Toups and his wife Hilary of Slidell; 10 
grandchildren, Jackie, Jeremy, Meghan, Melanie and Eric Toups, Hannah and Max 
Jumonville and Benjamin, Patrick and Rebecca Willis. He is also survived by his 
sister, JoAnne T. Smith and her husband Clifford of Houma.

He was preceded in death by his father, Aloysius Toups, and his mother, Julie 
Henry Toups.

Ethel B. Danos Arabie, 86, a native of Gheens and a resident of Mathews, died 
Sept. 4, 2003.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Hilary Catholic 
Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
the church with burial in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Norman J. Arabie; a step son, Jimmy Arabie; a 
daughter, Priscilla Hebert; step daughters Merlin Trosclair and Ariel Mae 
Champagne; a brother, Adam Hebert; a sister, Elsie Brassett; grandchildren Tad 
Hebert, Troy Hebert, Tricia Thibodeaux and Tamyra Hebert; great-grandchildren, 
Trever Hebert and Sarah Thibodeaux; eight step-grandchildren and six step 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Danos; her parents, 
Anatole and Lorentine Rodriguez Hebert; brothers, Lawrence, Clarence, Claude, 
Norman and Herbert Hebert; and a sister, Virgis Naquin.

Joseph Saia Sr.

Joseph "Joe" Louis Saia Sr., 76, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 
5:30 a.m. Sept. 4, 2003, from injuries from an automobile accident the previous 
day at West Jefferson Hospital.

His body was donated to the Bureau of Anatomical Services for medical education 
and research, and there will be no funeral. There will be a small interment 
service when his ashes are returned.

He is survived by his wife, Annie "Helen" Saia; sons, Steve, Joseph Jr., 
Edward, Mark, and David Saia; daughter, Diane Saia Giffin; brother, Frank Saia; 
sisters, Annette Saia Monure and Rose Saia Thomley; seven grandchildren; and 
seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo Sr. and Anna Russo Saia; 
brothers, Anthony, Salvatore "Sam," Steve, Angelo, Vincent "Bruno" and Louis Saia; 
and sisters, Josephine Saia Kimball and Angelina Saia Chiasson.

grandchildren; and 67 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Eschete Lirette; mother, Irene Henry

He was preceded in death by his father, Julien Lirette.

Sidney J. Orgeron, 89, a native of Lockport and resident of Larose, died Sept. 5, 
2003.

Rosary Catholic Church in Larose with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ida B. Orgeron; daughters, Shirley O. Domanigue and 
Mary Ann O. Guidry; sister, Bertha O. Robichaux; three grandchildren; eight great 
grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Marie Loupe Orgeron; brothers, 
Whitney, Clovis, Freddie, Esnair and Norman Orgeron; half-brothers, Joe, Milton 
and Emile Orgeron; and sister, Maggie O. Plaisance.

Anne C. Redhage, 54, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Schertz, Texas, died 
Sept. 5, 2003.

A memorial service was held in San Antonio.

She is survived by her parents, Nelson and Lena Constant; brothers, Phillip, 
Edward, Michael and Tommy Constant; sister, June Owens; daughters, Caroline 
Helms, Allyson Martinez and Missy Hartman; son, Jeremy Helms; and four 
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L Redhage; and sister, Nicky 
Blanchard.

Puente and Sons Funeral Home of San Antonio, was in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irby "Dub" Seely Sr.; parents, Walter 
and Mathilde Montet Ponson; son, I.J. "Dubbie" Seely Jr.; daughter, Joan "Susie"

Eunice Boudreaux Dantin, 95, a native of Bayou Goula and resident of Raceland, 
died at 3:10 p.m. Sept. 6, 2003.

Catholic Church in Raceland.

She is survived by her first cousin, Steven B. Autin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Dantin; parents, Leonce and 
Valerie Bourgeois Boudreaux; and son, Leonce J. Dantin.

Sybil Isibelle Brown Lapeyrouse, 86, a native of Gibson and resident of Houma, 
died at 9:55 p.m. Sept. 6, 2003.

sister, Dorothy Maas; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Nettie Rose Lafont, 71, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Golden Meadow, 
died Sept. 7, 2003.

Emile Joseph Plaisance Jr., 76, a native of Larose and resident of New Iberia, 
died at 9:50 a.m. Sept. 7, 2003.

at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in New Iberia, with a vigil service

He is survived by his wife, Ann M. Morrow Plaisance of New Iberia; daughters,

Samuel E. Plaisance of Denver, Colo.; stepsons, John Morrow of Clinton, Mich.,

O'Neil Plaisance of Galliano; sister, Frances Stevens of Thibodaux, Marjorie

Tommie "Bony Cat" Thompson, 62, a native of Centerville, Miss., and a resident of 
Thibodaux, died Sept. 7, 2003.

in Thibodaux. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 
church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mathilda Thompson; daughters, Brenda Brooks and 
Linda Every, both of Thibodaux, and Cynthia Brooks of Baton Rouge; sons, Calvin 
Brooks of Thibodaux, Tommie and Harold Brooks; stepsister, Dorean Stacky; 13 
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mozella and Hail Thompson.

Mildred P. Gravois. 90, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 5 a.m. 
Sept. 30, 2003.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at 
Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux, with burial at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery 
in Vacherie.

She is survived by her sons, Robert, John, Larry and Peter Gravois; daughters, 
Barbara Foret and Stella Gravois; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-
grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bert Gravois Sr.; parents, 
Ferdinand and Osanna Delatte; brothers, Paul, Buster, Levey and Edward Delatte; 
and sisters, Irene Steib and Valma Boudreaux Gills.

Louis Torres

Louis Allen Torres, 77, a native and resident of the St. Charles Community, 
died at 2:53 a.m. Sept. 30, 2003.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Landry's Funeral Home in 
Thibodaux and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 
in St. Charles. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday 
at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his fiance', Margaret Ducote; sons, Rodney and Gary Torres; 
daughters, Sheila Adams and Pam Normand; brother, Yertner Torres; sister, Sadie 
Acosta; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle, Jerilyn, Holly, Brian, Dawn, Paul, 
Rebekah, Cody, Alex, Melissa and Leah; and great-grandchildren, Symone and 
Adrian.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Odessel Torres; parents, Edgar and 
Margaret Lavenia Martinez Torres; and sisters, Stella Orodyne, Ethel Legarde 
and Mildred Terrell.

Russell Joseph Williams, 65, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of College 
Park, Ga., died Sept. 30, 2003.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. today at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral 
Home Winkenhofer Chapel in Marietta, Ga., with burial at Georgia Memorial Park 
Cemetery.

He is survived by his companion, Michael Long of College Park; parents, Andrew 
"Pep" and Bertha Williams of Galliano; sisters, Joyce Leonard of Thibodaux, 
Brenda Hymel of Cut Off and Elizabeth "Liz" Griffin of Larose; and brother, 
Kent Williams of Kentwood.
