Adline Leon

Adline Leon, 81, a native and resident of Assumption Parish, died Aug. 19, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at New Belmont Baptist Church. A song 
service will be held at 10:30 a.m. and religious service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at 
the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Merrite Leon Jr. and Lisha Leon of 
Labadieville, Louisiana and Clarence Leon of Baton Rouge; sister, Shirley Neal 
of Bridge City; brother, Ernest Jackson of Bridge City; seven grandchildren; and 
four great-grnadchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrite Leon Sr.; parents, Cora and 
Ernest Jackson; brothers, Willie Washington, Isaiah, Melvin and Wilson Jackson; 
and sisters, Geneva Jackson and Evelyn Honeycutt.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
