Aline Block

Aline Block, 92, a native of New Orleans and resident of Fulton County, Ga., 
died Aug. 26, 2004.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Garden of Memories 
Cemetery in Gray.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jay and Silvia Block and 
Donald and Joyce Block; grandchildren, Bret Block and his wife Michelle, Bradley 
Block, Larry Block and his wife Moira, and David Block; and five great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband, Adolph Block; and parents, Bertha and Bernard 
Joseph.

An only child, she was born and raised in New Orleans, but lived the last six 
and a half years of her life in Atlanta.

She was a lifelong bridge player and was a life master at a very early age.

She loved the Braves and watched every game, critical at times and praising at 
times, a true fan.
