Auguster Gaither					[Photo]

Auguster Gaither, 47, a native of Houma and resident of Terrebonne died at 12:30 
p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne 
Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Luke 
Baptist Church in Dularge, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his former wife, Alice N. White; two sons, Auguster S. Gaither 
and Gregory N. Gaither; one daughter, Nicole S. Gaither; four brothers, Samuel 
Gaither Jr. and wife, Brenda, James Gaither Sr. and wife, Ann, Charles Gaither 
Sr. and wife, Elaine, and Bruce Gaither; his godbrother, Cleveland "Stopper" 
Gaither; and four sisters, Mrs. Brenda (Raymond) Wolfe Sr., Eva M. Gaither, 
Patricia Cheavis and husband, Reginald, and Roslyn D. Gaither.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Rosemary Henry Gaither Sr.; 
and two brothers, Hayward and Anthony Gaither.

He was a truck driver assistant and worked for St. Vincent De Paul's and ACE 
Bonding and was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church.
