Doris Lirette

Doris B. Lirette, 81, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Cut Off, died at 
5:25 p.m. Aug. 18, 2004.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Willie, David, Wayne, Thomas, Alan, Don and Brian 
Lirette; daughters, Leanna Fontenot, Linda Guidry, Gail Thibodaux and Brenda 
Pitre; stepdaughter, Diane Richard; brothers, Ivy Jr., Ridley and Gerald 
Blanchard; sisters, Marguerite Naquin and Berta Landry; 37 grandchildren; 12 
step-grandchildren; 49 great-grandhcildren; and 18 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Cedatol Sr.; second 
husband, Calvin Lirette; parents, Ivy and Lydia Landry Blanchard; daughter, 
Lydia Ann Cedatol; brother, Donald Blanchard; sisters, Vivian Daigle and Audrey 
Jordan.

She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She enjoyed pokeno and dancing.
