Gerald Marcantel

Gerald "Jerry" J. Marcantel, 62, a native of Lafayette and resident of 
Thibodaux, died at 3:20 p.m. Aug. 16, 2004.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux 
and 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Co-cathedral in Thibodaux.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, 
with burial at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge.

He is survived by his mother, Amynthe C. Marcantel; son, Gerald Marcantel; 
daughter, Angele Marcantel Druen; brothers, Michael Marcantel; and two 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Idiol J. Marcantel.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
