Gilbert Auseve Sr.

Gilbert Joseph Auseve Sr., 82, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of 
Galliano, died Aug. 24, 2004.

Visitation will be 4 to 11 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Falgout 
Funeral Home in Galliano.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of 
Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial at the church 
cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lorida Champagne Auseve; sons, Gilbert "Jay" Auseve 
Jr. and Darren Anselmi; daughter, Ariel Anselmi; brother, Roy Anselmi; sisters, 
Lorida Rogers, Leona Guidry, Austreda Collins, Clauodet Duet and Verda Guidroz; 
grandchildren, Charlene Folse, Marlene Auseve, Merissa Anselmi and Ariel 
Anselmi; and great-grandchild, Dallas Folse.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexson and Angelina Guidry Anselmi; 
son, Donald Anselmi; brother, Fedless Anselmi; sister, Leoda Anselmi Williams.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

He enjoyed trawling and fishing and going to Chine's Net Shop.

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
