Hewitt Thibodeaux					[Photo]


Hewitt "Doo" Thibodeaux, 83, a native and resident of Chauvin, died at 4:30 
p.m. Aug. 11, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Little Caillou Baptist Mission in 
Chauvin. A religious service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with 
burial at St. Elie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Iola Blanchard Thibodeaux; sons, Elmore and Raleigh 
Thibodeaux; sons, Gerald, Gene and Laddie Thibodeaux; daughter, Felicia Harper; 
brother, Roy Thibodeaux; sister, Ouida Lecompte; 13 grandchildren; and 12 
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul A. and Felicia Hendry Thibodeaux; 
sisters, Hazel Robicheaux, Stella Neal, Della Fanguy and Bella Fanguy.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
