Hilda Lofaso						[Photo]

Hilda Mary Dumez Lofaso, 96, a native of Edgard and resident of Houma, died at 
7:20 p.m. Aug. 25, 2004.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Church in Houma.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 
with burial at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery in Houma.

She is survived by her son, Gerald Lofaso of Baton Rouge; daughters, Rosary 
Guidry of Bedford, Texas, and Betty Jean Shutts of Houma; 14 grandchildren; and 
15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Frank Lofaso; parents, Eugene and Hester 
Jones Dumez; brothers, Eugene and Bryan Dumez; and sisters, Thelma Duplantis and 
Rosadelle Melancon.

She was a retired registered nurse and a graduate of Hotel Dieu School of 
Nursing.

Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
