Jeannette Smotherman

Jeannette Devillier Smotherman, 57, a native of Breaux Bridge and resident of 
Larose, died at 4 a.m. Aug. 29, 2004.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church in Cut Off.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the 
church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth "Kenny" Smotherman; sons, Jessie James 
Devillier; brothers, Alvin "A. J." Devillier; sisters, Cathy Eddy, Linda 
Eschette and Doris Devillier; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin H. and Celeste Dupuis Devillier; 
son, Jacques R. Devillier; and sisters, Helen Galjour and Nellie Cantrelle. 
Samart Fuenral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
