A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Samart 
Funeral Home in Bayou Blue for Larry Lucas Jr., 14, a native and resident of 
Houma.

Visitation will be noon to 4 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
funeral home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Elizabeth D. Lucas and Larry Lucas Sr. of 
Mississippi; grandparents, Christine and Jesse Jewell of Texas; aunts and 
uncles, Miriam and Keith Warner, Howard and Delma Linson, Stan and Evelyn 
Linson, Ellis and Jerry Linson, Diane and Bobo Gore of Mississippi, Aunt 
Blanche and Aunt Lorene of Belle Chase and numerous other aunts, uncles and 
cousins; sisters, Damini L. Deen, Devin D. Crochet and husband Clarence "Boo" 
Crochet; niece, Shakeira J. Crochet and Amanda Lucas; brother, Jonathan Lucas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William T. Linson, Abner L. Lucas 
of Mississippi and Mary R. Luc; uncles, Leslie Lucas and Ricky Jewell; aunt, 
Elda Linson.

Special love from his best friends Josh, Tim, Wallace and Annie; love from 
family members, Brett Justin Corbitt, Candice Corbitt, Miranda Gee, Gaige 
Corbitt, Tye Corbitt, Roy, Janell and Kade Corbitt, Thomas, Jackie, Harley and 
Arty Deen Jeremy and Jason Gore.
