Visitation will be from 6 p.m. Thursday until 11 a.m. Friday at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, with burial in the St. Jules Catholic Cemetery at Brusley St. Martin. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Benson Blanchard of Pierre Part and Theresa and Daniel LaComb of Labadieville; sons and daughters- in-law, Terry and Melanie Cedotal of Napoleonville, Wilson and Dorothy Cavalier of Donaldson, Russell and Donna Cavalier of Belle Rose, Mike Cavalier of Belle Rose and Ivy and Debra Cavalier of Paincourtville; sisters, Angela Landry of Pierre Part, Mathilda Metrejean of Grand Bayou and Lydia Meche of Vinton; brothers, Frank Martin of Pierre Part, Albert Alborado of Pierre Part, Isley Alborado of Grand Bayou and Elwood Alborado of Brusly St. Martin and Joseph Martin of Paincourtville; 28 precious grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rene Cavalier; a son, Wilbert Cavalier; parents, Murphy and Faustine Sanchez; and brother, Woodrow Alborado. She was a devoted homemaker. Ourso Funeral Home of Pierre Part is in charge of arrangements.
