Marliss Duet						[Photo]


Marliss Rita Lombas Duet, 69, a native of Morgan City and resident of 
Leaksville, Miss., died at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Monday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Harold Solar Sr., Cyrus Solar Jr. and Rickey 
Solar; three daughters, Norma Lynn Summers, Marliss Ann Lena and Dianna Rita 
Gisclair; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cyrus Solar Sr. and Bobby W. Duet; 
her parents, Albert and Loula Mae Lombas; one grandson; and one brother, Harold 
Lombas.

She was a retired insurance salesperson.
