Mary Bunnell Russ, 90, a native of North Carolina and resident of Houma, died at 
9:45 p.m. Aug. 14, 2004.

A religious service was held at 11 a.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, 
with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Eschete; six grandchildren; and five 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Russ; her parents, Emmett and 
Bonita Packer Bunnell; sons, Frank Jr. and James "J.W." Russ; daughter, Wanda 
Russ Parker; brothers, Jasper, James and Thurman Bunnell; and sister, Nettie 
Murdock.

She was a homemaker.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
