Maude Bryant James, 89, a native and resident of Plattenville, died at 9 a.m. 
Aug. 21, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wesley United Methodist Church 
in Napoleonville. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 
church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Doreatha Jackson, Beatrice Burd and Aceal 
Cassie; sons, Clifton, Stanford, Calvin, Jerald, Mervin and Lloyd; sister, 
Emelda Mills.

She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Paul James; and sister, 
Myrtle Holloway.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
