Felarise, 77, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, died at 5:20 a.m. Aug. 10, 2004. Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Terrebonne Felarise; sons, Douglas, Sullivan and Kirt Felarise; stepsons, Daniel, Jade and Jason Barrios; daughters, Nora Thiboaux and Debra Delatte; stepdaughters, Loretta Domangue and Jennifer Guidry; brothers, Jimmy and Gilbert Felarise; sisters, Evella "Bell" Cheramie, Laura Mae Bergeron and Inez "Bee" Guidry; 19 grandhcildren; 12 step- grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernand Jr. and Alanna Cheramie Felarise; stepson, Robert Crochet; brother, Eserman Felarise; sister, Enola Guidry; one grandchild; one step-grandchild; one great-grandchild; and one step-great-grandchild. He was a member of the American Legion, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired employee of Griffin Boat Company. His hobbies were woodcrafts and gardening. Donations for Masses are preferred. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
