Jambon, 49, a native of Grand Isle and resident of Cut Off, died at 6:45 a.m. Aug. 23, 2004. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his brothers, Jude, Jay and John Jambon; and sisters, Polly Borden, Mary Lee Wynmore, Phyllis Jambon and Paulette LeBlanc. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michel and Edna Mae Terrebonne Jambon; brothers, Dean, Phillip, Mark and Michel Jr. Jambon. He attended The Center. He was in the Special Olympics. His favorite song was "You Are My Sunshine." Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
