Shirley Trosclair Baye, 80, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 3:17 
p.m. Aug. 21, 2004.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Church in 
Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at 
the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Jr. and Jessica Baye 
and Chuck Baye; daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Tommy McGehee and 
Jeanne and Terry Autin; sister, Betty Prejean; grandchildren, Joel, Bennett, 
Ryan, Lauren Baye, Vern and Brett McGehee, Sean and Gregory Autin; and great-
grandchild, Taylor Baye.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Baye Sr.; parents, Georgea 
nd Jeanne Soignet Trosclair; brothers, Irion, Cecil, Carl, Ray and Larry 
Trosclair; and sisters, Theresa Fonseca and Myrtle St. Marie.

She was a member of the St. John Altar Society, she volunteered at St. John 
Catholid church as a bulletin folder and wine minister.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
