Sidney Adams

Sidney H. Adams, 85, a native of Patterson and resident of Luling, died at 
10:05 p.m. Aug. 7, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Luling. A 
religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at 
St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Kinler Adams; daughters, Shelly Gaudet and 
Bobbie Rae Sweeney; brother, Darrel Adams; sisters, Doyle Stromer and Amy 
Champagne; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Corinne Landry Adams; 
brother, Benny J. Adams; and sisters, Blanche Stoufflet, Willena "Billie" 
Bigler and Ione Roberts.

He was a member of the VFW Post 3750 of Luling and Operator Engineers Local 
406.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
