Arthur Hamburger

Arthur Ralph Hamburger, 90, a native and lifetime resident of New Orleans and 
resident of Kenner for the past year, died at 9:53 a.m. Dec. 27, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 
3827 Canal St., New Orleans. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 
a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial at St. Vincent de Paul 
Cemetery No. 1.

He is survived by his children, Jane H. Murry, Arthur R. Hamburger Jr., Lawrence 
J. Hamburger and Merlie H. Richard; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alice Graff Hamburger; wife, 
Merlie Jones Hamburger; and siblings, Margaret H. Drago, John, Irma, Alice, 
Alison and Agnes Hamburger.

Donations to Guardian Hospice are preferred. Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home 
of New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.
