Billy Brockwell					[Photo]

Billy Joe Brockwell, 71, a native of Limestone, Tenn., and resident of Gibson, 
died at 9:10 a.m. Dec. 28, 2004.

Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Chauvin 
Funeral Home. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
funeral home chapel, with burial at St. Patrick Cemetery.

He is survived by his son, David Brockwell; daughters, Judy Roberts of 
Thibodaux, Kathy Brockwell of Houma and Paula Brockwell of Amelia; brother, 
Taylor Brockwell of Greenville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Hinkle Brockwell; father, Charles 
Brockwell; mother, Katherine Stanton Irvin; granddaughter, Kimberly Brockwell; 
brothers, Charles, Sam and John Brockwell; and sister, Patricia Norris.

He was a retired painter with Brown and Root. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the 
Korean War and a member of the VFW Morgan City Chapter.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
