Carolyn Babin						[Photo]

Carolyn Richard Babin, 71, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Houma, died at 
4:58 p.m. Dec. 11, 2004.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 
funeral time Tuesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian 
burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. 
Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her son, Mark Babin of Thibodaux; daughters, Linda Pellegrin, 
Cheryl Cameron and Kelly Colwart, all of Houma; brother, Gerald Richard of 
Thibodaux; sister, Barbara Tauzin of Chackbay; 11 grandchildren; and seven 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin J. Babin; parents, Armand F. 
Richard Sr. and Thelma M. Adams Richard; brother, Armand Richard Jr.

She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
