Cathy Aupied, 47, a resident of Midland, Texas, died Dec. 25, 2004.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at Ellis Funeral Home in Midland. A 
religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephen's Catholic 
Church in Midland.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Aupied of Midland; sons, James Driskell, 
IV, of Pensacola, Fla.; Jason Aupied of Billings, MT; Timothy Aupied of 
Lafayette; daughter, Julie Aupied of Thibodaux; father, Bobby Pyles, Sr., of 
Pensacola, Fla.; brother, Ken Martin of Fort Greeley, AK; sisters, Carolyn Moye 
of Ocean Springs, MS; Susan Chamberlain of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Noah 
Aupied and Jaison Aupied.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dulcy Landry Pyles

She was born October 3, 1957 to Bobby Pyles, Sr., and Dulcy Landry Pyles in 
Orange, Texas. Cathy was raised and educated in Pensacola, Florida. She had 
lived in Denver, Colorado before moving to Midland, Texas in 1999.

She was preceded in death by her mother, and brother, Bobby Pyles, Jr.

Ellis Funeral Home of Midland is in charge of arrangements.
