Clara Dufrene						[Photo]

Clara "Sis" Brupbacher Dufrene, 87, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Des 
Allemands, died at 11:15 p.m. Dec. 28, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Mennonite Church in Des Allemands. 
A religious service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church, with 
burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Marlin Dufrene; brothers, John, Jesse and Glen 
Brupbacher; sisters, Ruth Roy, Thelma Bernard, Ida Doland, Betty Ruiz and Gerry 
Vannoy; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy Dufrene; parents, Otto 
Brupbacher Sr. and Lydia Pertuit Brupbacher; and two brothers, Orrie and Otto 
Brupbacher Jr.

She was owner of Sis' Flowers and Gifts for 43 years.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
