Clarisse Foret						[Photo]

Clarisse M. Foret, 94, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Raceland, 
died at noon Dec. 10, 2004.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Mary's 
Nativity Church in Raceland, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas and Dewey Foret; daughter, Mildred Foret; 
six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Foret; parents, Joseph Monnier 
Sr. and Adele Babin; brothers, Joseph "Joe" Monnier and Freddie "Buck" Monnier; 
sisters, Josephine "Fin" Guillot and Rita M. Walker.

She was an American Legion auxiliary member of Post 349 and a member of St. 
Mary's Ladies Altar Society.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
