Dan Danos

Dan David Danos, 71, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 9:25 a.m. Dec. 
29, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut 
Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the 
church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Doug, Michael and Robbie Danos and Mike Williams; 
daughters, Denise David and Katherine Mayberry; brother, John Danos; sister, 
Shirley Balser; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Dugas Danos; parents, Donatien and 
Nola Lerelle Danos; and sister, Rita B. Callais.

He was Catholic and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a Lafourche Parish school 
teacher and retired facility manager with La. Rehab Services.

He enjoyed his children, raising horses, carving duck decoys, fishing, coaching 
and raising and hunting with dogs.

Donations to CASA Hope are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
