Diane R. Becnel, 41, a native and resident of Vacherie, died at 7:42 a.m. Dec. 
25, 2004.

Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church 
in Vacherie. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday 
at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Dano Becnel; mother, Margaret Rome; brothers, 
Jason, Manuel and Lonny Rome.

She was preceded in death by her father, V.J. Rome; grandparents, Vic and Altha 
Rome, Gilbert and Noelie Cortez.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
