Elsie Treadaway

Elsie C. Treadaway, 79, a native of Raceland and resident of Luling, died at 
2:35 p.m. Dec. 24, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in 
Luling. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the 
church, with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft.

She is survived by her sons, Rodney F. and Corey G. Treadaway; daughter, Jan. M. 
Treadaway; sister, Norma "Tee" Roundtree; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel "Spot" Treadaway; parents, 
Henry and Viola Bertrand Chiasson; son, Wayne "Butch" Treadaway; brothers, Edwin 
"Pete" Chiasson, Frances "Red" Chiasson and David H. Chiasson; and sister, Eula 
Lauve.

She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
