The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ================================ December 23. 2004 12:00AM Jack Haas Jack Donald Haas, 77, a native of Stroudsburg, Penn., and resident of Tamworth, N.J. died Dec. 18, 2004. A memorial service will be held this spring in Stroudsburg. He is survived by his sons, Jack Kevin Hass of Snohomish, Wash and Kirk Daryl Haas of Philadelphia; his companion, Judy Danos of Tamworth; and her children, James Danos Jr., Rene Yerby and Marc Danos; two grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horatio and Christina Elsenberger Haas. He was a retired police officer in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard 28th division. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and an Army Ranger veteran of the Korean War. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Robinson, Wright and Weymer Funeral Home of Centerbrook Ct. is in charge of arrangements.
