Jake Hunter

Jake Joseph Hunter, 53, a native of Galliano and resident of Raceland, died Dec. 
22, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut 
Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the 
funeral home, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Todaro Hunter; mother, Mary Gisclair Hunter; 
stepsons, Corbert and Anthony Rodrigue; daughters and son-in-law, Jolynda 
Vining, Jessica and Cory Parrish; sisters, Nellie Hunter, Connie Guidry, Tina 
Allemand and Stacey McCollough; and grandchildren, Justin Vining, Brianna 
Hunter, Charle Rodrigue and Jacorie Parrish.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johness Hunter.

He was a boat captain.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
