Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens, with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Dominique; mother, Mathilda Breaux Dominique Orgeron; son, James Dominique Jr.; daughters, Tonya O. LeBouef, Krisey Dominique, Bridget Dominique and Britney Dominique; brother, Nolan Dominique Sr.; sisters, Leanna Schouest, Mary Mae Hebert, Georgina Lepine and Julie Matherne; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Nolan Dominique; brother, Lawrence, Shookie Dominique; sisters, Nowana Badeaux and Marie Dominique. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
