James Pierce Sr.

James Pierce Sr., 83, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 6:05 p.m. Dec. 
27, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland. A 
graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Cemetery in 
Larose.

He is survived by his daughters, Louise Trosclair and Lora Barndt; sister, 
Marjorie Richardel; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three 
great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Earline Rodrigue Pierce; parents, Henry 
Jr. and Evelia Pitre Pierce; son, James Pierce Jr.; brothers, Wilbert, Tryphon 
and Robert Pierce; sister, Marcella Sanders; and two grandchildren.

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
