Joseph Steib

Joseph Albert Steib, 79, a native and resident of Vacherie, died at 6:05 a.m. 
Dec. 12, 2004.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic 
Church in Vacherie. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. 
Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by a brother, Prudent J. Steib; and sister, Etienette "Net" 
Becnel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Etienne and Elizabeth Falgout Steib; 
brothers, Adolph, Berris and Rene Steib; sister, Mrs. John "Josephine" Reulet.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. Landry's Funeral Home is in 
charge of arrangements.
