Mack "Pop" McBride, 58, a native of Belle Rose and resident of Gretna, died Dec. 
24, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Baptist Church in Belle 
Rose. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with 
burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his companion, Carolyn Harris of Gretna; son, Dannon Harris of 
Gretna; daughters, Shelita McBride of Marrero, Trenice McBride of New Orleans, 
Michele Harris Prevost of Harvey and Taisia Harris Davis of Gretna; stepson, 
Earl Harris of Gretna, stepdaughters, Shawanda Harris Landry of Gretna and 
Katrice Harris of New Orleans; sisters, Gertie Jones of Waggaman and Beverly 
Magee of Harvey; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack Sr. and Dorothy Smith McBride; 
grandson, Jewel Luve McBride; sisters, Helen Atkins and Doris McBride.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
