Margaret Rodrigue

Margaret "Sis" Authement Rodrigue, 60, died unexpectedly after surgery Dec. 19, 
2004.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma and 
from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Chapel in Gibson.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the church.

She is survived by her parents, Joseph "JY" and Margaret "Mar Mae" McIntire 
Authement; brother, Chris Authement of Gibson; sisters Joni Broussard of 
Gulfport, Miss., Carole Duval of Gibson, Fay Kurkjy of Lexington, KY and Anne 
Authement of Gibson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan "Spike" Rodrigue.

A graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School and Nicholls State University, 
she was a retired teacher in Terrebonne Parish.

She was an example of love, kindness and generosity to all who knew her. Her 
selflessness was epitomized by her good deeds and lifelong commitment to serving 
others. Her presence in our lives was God's blessing to us all.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
