Michael Rogers

Michael J. Rogers, 59, a native of Gheens and resident of Lockport, died at 
10:50 a.m. Dec. 9, 2004.

Visitation will be 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in 
Lockport. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at 
the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his former wife, Mona T. Rogers; stepdaughter, Desiree 
Boudreaux and her husband, Byron Boudreaux; brothers, Roland Rogers of Florida 
and Kenneth Rogers of Arkansas; sister, Gail Wilson of Arkansas; and 
grandchildren, Jordan Picou and Lexi Boudreaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Angelina Rogers; 
grandparents, Johnny and Julia Bye and T-Clay and Odelia Rogers.

He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
