Nathan "Billy" Ward Sr., 63, a native of Jeanerette and resident of 
Donaldsonville, died Dec. 16, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Virginia Baptist Church in 
Ewellville. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, 
with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn R. Ward of Donaldsonville; daughters, Mable 
Parker of Belle Rose, Stephanie Jones of Franklin, Carolyn Mills, Allison Ward 
and Valerie Bennette of Donaldsonville; sons, Nathan Ward Jr. of Belle Rose, 
Russell Ward of Prairieville and Warren Ward of Donaldsonville; stepdaughters, 
Charmaine Johnson and Alessie Jackson of Gonzales and Tremaine Jackson of 
Donaldsonville; stepsons, David and Clarence Jackson III of Gonzales and Rafeal 
Jackson of Donaldsonville; adopted son, Tyrone Ward of Donaldsonville; sisters, 
Thelma Logerman and Juanita Watts; brothers, Wilbert and Ralph Ward Jr.; 28 
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
