Nolan Dorsey						[photo]

Nolan Dorsey, 70, a native and resident of Belle Rose, died Nov. 29, 2004, at 
Prevost Memorial Hospital in Donaldsonville.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at First Israel Baptist Church in Belle 
Rose. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. today. A religious service will be 
held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with entombment at the church mausoleum.

He is survived by his wife, Constance S. Dorsey of Belle Rose; sons, Nolan 
Dorsey Jr. of Labadieville and Micheal Dorsey of Belle Rose; daughters, Brenetta 
Dorsey of Houma, Pauline D. Peterson and Shironica Dorsey of Belle Rose; 
sisters, Shirley D. Burd, Elaine Keys, Aldenia Arnold and Ethel Carter, all of 
Belle Rose; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Miller and Verza Williams Dorsey; 
grandson, Terrance Dorsey; and sister, Hazel Martin.

He was a retired laborer.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
