Thomas Jones Jr.

Thomas Tonia Jones Jr., 86, a native of Plaquemine and resident of Houma, died 
Dec. 19, 2004.

Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at 
the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. A religious service will take place at 
11 a.m. Wednesday at the hall, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Tony J. Jones Sr.; stepdaughter, Sharon Domangue of 
Houma; half-brother, Stanley W. Jones of Plaquemine; sisters, Sadie Mae Templet 
and Mary Lou Mendoza of Plaquemine; half-sister, Nora Hilda Jones Williams of 
Plaquemine; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Allie Trahan Jones; parents, Thomas T. 
Jones Sr. and Belle Persilver Jones; stepson, Terry A. DuBois; brothers, Ernest 
Allen Jones and Claude Ray Jones; half-brothers, Horace and Odom H. Jones; and 
sisters, Mable Ruth Jones and Bessie Jones Doiron Nevels.

He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
