Wayne Cheramie Sr.

Wayne Cheramie Sr., 55, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, died 
at 11:18 p.m. Dec. 19, 2004.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic 
Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 
a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda C. Cheramie; son, Wayne Cheramie Jr.; 
daughters, Rayda C. Chamberlain, Leah A. Plaisance and Mindy T. Plaisance; 
brothers, Jessie and Timmy Cheramie; sisters, Dolly K. Badeaux, Susan K. LeBlanc 
and Rhonda K. Dufrene; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bienvenue Cheramie and Tommy and Doris 
Kiff.

He was a fisherman and boat captain.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
