Albert Plaisance

Albert "Brown" A. Plaisance, 88, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of 
New Orleans, died at 8:30 a.m. July 29, 2004.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Mary's 
Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Pearly Vedros Plaisance; son, Miller Plaisance; 
daughter, Marian Peery; sister, Rose Vedros; nine grandchildren; and six great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melian and Menolia B. Plaisance; sons, 
Milton Plaisance; brothers, Anatole, Noah, Mellian and Charlie Plaisance; and 
sisters, Evelyn Parks, Clara Dempster, Minola Bourg and Laura Myers.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
