Elvige Gravois

Elvige Marse Gravois, 83, of Vacherie, died at 8 p.m. July 27, 2004.

A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Peace 
Catholic Church in Vacherie, with burial at the church mausoleum.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard Jr. and Shirley 
Gravois, Gerard Gravois and Glenda Bourgeois, Wayne and Darlene Gravois, all of 
Vacherie, and Carol and Maureen Gravois of Thibodaux; brother, Jean Marse Sr. 
of Reserve; sisters, Jeanne Folse of Vacherie, Mary Humphries of LaPlace and 
Emma Schexnayder of Destrehan; grandchildren, Lenny, Kristi, Jamie, Lori, Ryan, 
Shelli, Brandon, Sarah, Casie, Stacie, Lauren, Shaun, Ashlee, Aaron, Wesley, 
Bennett and Caroline Gravois and Wendy and Bart Broussard; and four great-
grandchildren, Layne, Colin, Hudson and Isabella Grace Gravois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Gravois Sr.

Ourso Funeral Home of Donaldsonville was in charge of arrangements.
